Join the Nebo Shadows service unit for their day camp "Fairies & Fables: Imagining Enchanting Stories" on May 30-June 1. Wonder and whimsy will collide during this creative day camp! On our first evening, we'll discover the magic of storytelling, the parts of a story, and how to write your own. The next evening, we'll learn some illustration basics and how visual art enhances a story. On the final day, we'll complete our enchanting stories, socialize over a fairy tea party and lunch, then create dazzling fairy gardens!
Day Camp will occur from 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm on May 30 & 31. It will occur from 9:00 am-2:00 pm on June 1. The cost of the camp is $35 and includes all activities and supplies. Participants will need to bring a sack dinner on the first two days, but lunch will be provided on the final day. Snacks are provided on all three days. Registration for this program will take place through your myGS account.
This day camp is hosted by Nebo Shadows Service Unit, but Girl Scouts from any service unit across the council are welcome to register. Girl Scouts and non-members in grades K-12 can sign up to attend. This event is open to individual youth only. Adult supervision will be met through the volunteers that are running the program.
Cancellations and Refunds
Program deposits are non-refundable. Program fees (less the deposit) may be refunded before the program registration deadline (5/20/2024). Cancellations after the program registration deadline (5/20/2024) will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered.
