Board Directory

Women and men representing varied civic, business, and community organizations serve on the Board of Directors. Volunteer delegates at the council's Annual Meeting each May elect the GSU Board of Directors. The delegate body at the Annual Meeting also elects the Council Nominating Committee. This committee reviews referrals of potential board and Council Nominating Committee members. Their work includes reference checks and personal interviews as they strive to find the best candidates to balance the skills and expertise needed for the policy-making board.

We maintain that the strength of the Girl Scout organization rests in the voluntary leadership of its adult members.
