Scholarship Information

• Girl Scout Gold Award recipients who are registered members of Girl Scouts of Utah may apply for the Cornelia Benton Scholarship. Application paperwork is mailed in January, interviews take place in February, and scholarship recipients are announced at the Girl Recognition Event in April.

• The International Leadership Network acknowledges Girl Scout Gold Award recipients through the Young Achievers Program, which provides a $1,000 government bond to a selected girl who earns the Girl Scout Gold Award. The network also develops showcase exhibits in specific locations to highlight all recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award. For detailed information, contact drobertson@gsutah.org.

• An increasing number of colleges and universities have established scholarship programs for Girl Scout Gold Award recipients and for girls who have been very active in Girl Scout but who have not completed their Girl Scout Gold Award. Click here for information regarding current scholarships.
