Girl Membership

Membership Grade Levels

• Girl Scout Daisies, grades K and 1
• Girl Scout Brownies, grades 2 and 3
• Girl Scout Juniors, grades 4 and 5
• Girl Scout Cadettes, grades 6, 7, and 8
• Girl Scout Seniors, grades 9 and 10
• Girl Scout Ambassadors, grades 11 and 12

Note: Girl Scout Juliettes are individually-registered girls of all ages.

Membership Dues

Membership in Girl Scouts is granted to any girl 5 to 17 years of age who makes the Girl Scout Promise and accepts the Girl Scout Law (more information here), and pays annual membership dues of $12.

All membership dues are sent directly to GSUSA. In return, GSUSA provides:

Membership Year

Our membership year is established by GSUSA and runs October 1 through September 30. All members pay the annual membership dues, regardless of when they register during the membership year. The entire amount is forwarded to GSUSA for all girls and adults.
