Fees

Girl Scouts of Utah is fortunate to have many of our Girl Scout and adult learning courses underwritten by generous financial gifts to our Girl Scouts of Utah Family Campaign. Occasionally there will also be modest fees to cover items such as food or other supplies (participant handouts, books, course materials, etc.) used during a course. The American Red Cross trainings are offered at a reduced fee through Girl Scouts of Utah and include specific certification fees.

If there is a cost for a course, you have two options. If you choose to register online, payment must be made by credit/debit card. If you want to pay by check or cash, registration must be mailed or hand delivered to the CRC.

Limit

Each course has a minimum (min) and maximum (max) number of participants. This helps participants enjoy an optimal learning experience and ensures that we have the proper amount of supplies.

Deadlines

Each course has a deadline. The deadline is the last day an applicant will be able to register for training.

Locations

For the safety of our Girl Scout members, the locations listed for adult education courses designate a geographic area only. The complete address and directions will be included in the course confirmation.

Confirmations

A confirmation will be sent by email or mail approximately two weeks prior to the training course date. Email confirmations help GSU use resources wisely. Specific training information is only distributed in the confirmation. Any additional required forms will be listed in your confirmation materials. These forms can be downloaded from our web site or copies can be mailed or faxed to you.

Cancellations

Any requests to cancel your registration or to receive a refund must be received at the CRC office prior to the registration deadline. No exceptions will be made.

There are four ways to cancel a course:

  • Fax your cancellation to (801) 261-1213
  • Mail your cancellation to Girl Scouts of Utah, PO Box 57280, Salt Lake City, UT 84157

You will not receive a refund if you are registered but do not show up for a course. A 100% refund is given to all registrants if a course is cancelled by Girl Scouts of Utah.

If a course does not meet the minimum number of participants, the course may be cancelled. Only those who are registered for a course will be notified of cancellations or changes in times, site locations, or other important information. Please register in advance.
