Being a Girl Scouts of Utah sponsor or partner means supporting the Girl Scout Movement and communicating your support for our mission. Sponsors and partners help Utah girls of every race, color, ethnicity, creed, national origin, socioeconomic status, and disability to become happy and resourceful citizens.

XMission

XMission and owner Pete Ashdown have provided generous support for Girl Scouts of Utah. The very fact that you are able to visit our web site is thanks to their outstanding willingness to host the Girl Scouts of Utah web site free of charge! This has been an amazing gift which continues to enhance our program and communication on a daily basis. Furthermore, XMISSION and Pete Ashdown have been sponsors of various Girl Scouts of Utah events, such as the annual Going for the Green Golf Tournament, adding to our resources for serving girls across the state.

Union Pacific Foundation

The Union Pacific Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Union Pacific Corporation and Union Pacific Railroad. Union Pacific believes that the quality of life in the communities in which its employees live and work is an integral part of its own success.

While a significant portion of the foundation's funding is directed toward the signature giving program, The Principals' Partnership, the foundation has a limited amount of funds available through an annual grant application process for which nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations located in Union Pacific communities may apply.

Girl Scouts of Utah is fortunate to be chosen by Union Pacific Foundation this year to receive a generous program for our Recognition of Excellence event to honor our Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Graduating Senior, 10 Year Girl Members, and scholarship recipients.

The organizations on this list provide support for Girl Scouting on a statewide level. Their impact is much stronger because of support of activities and programs that reach all girls and volunteers in our council jurisdiction. Almost all of the foundations and corporation on this list require a complex proposal process, as well as report on the use of their donations. Therefore, it has been determined that the Development and Alumni Relations department (DARD) is the best entity for making contact and requesting support from the following companies.
