Imagine being part of a nationwide event with thousands of Girl Scouts and volunteers. Travel with a group of Utah girls to Houston, Texas, for the Girls’ Leadership Conference and National Convention November 9–13, 2011. You’ll have your choice of workshop topics like Unleash Your Inner Girl: Celebrate Your Strengths; Balance It Out: Managing Stress; or Healthy Habits: Tips for Active Teens and Tweens. Get cool freebies from vendors by visiting the exhibit hall. Enjoy the Opening Ceremony with musical performances. Be introduced to GSUSA’s CEO and Board Chair. Meet thousands of Girl Scouts from across the nation and make lifelong friends.

Join us for this free informative prep session to learn about the details so you can start planning now. The total cost for this program will be $1,400 (includes five pre-activities, travel, food, lodging, entrance fees, etc.). Use your activity credits to help pay for this amazing experience. You must decide if you want to join by August 31. Girls who attend events in Houston may be asked to serve on a girl-led committee to plan the 2014 Girls’ Leadership Conference that will be held in Salt Lake City. Wow, what a resume builder!
