Camp Changes Girls

Sending the girl in your life to summer camp is a magical experience that will inspire the rest of her life.

Girl Scouts of Utah offers amazing summer camp programs for girls ages 7–17 (girls do not need to be Girl Scouts to attend). Camp staff create a wide range of fun and challenging activities that promote girls’ personal growth and leadership development. There is something for every girl: Camp Cloud Rim near Park City features water sports, rock climbing, and art programs, while Trefoil Ranch near Provo features horseback riding and high adventure programs. Affordable weeklong and half week sessions are offered.

Girl Scouts of Utah’s camps are proudly accredited by the American Camp Association and boast cutting-edge programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and caring, highly qualified staff.

The benefits of a camp experience are numerous—among them, leadership, communication skills, responsibility, resilience, citizenship, self-identity, self-esteem, and respect. ACA surveys have found:

  • Camp helps children make new friends. (96%)
  • Camp help children get to know kids who are different than they are. (93%)
  • Camp staff helps children feel good about themselves. (92%)
  • Camp gives children the ability to do things they were afraid to do at first. (74%)
