Criminal Background Checks

In order to ensure the safety and well-being of the girl and adult members of Girl Scouts of Utah, all prospective and current staff members, board members, and volunteers are required to pass a criminal background check, including sex offender registries, prior to working or being placed in a volunteer position.

GSU will maintain the complete confidentiality of all information obtained through criminal background checks and reference checks, and all information on application forms, including information regarding disqualification decisions.
