Camp Cloud Rim (Park City)

Camp Cloud Rim rests at 9,200-foot elevation on the shores of Lake Brimhall, located near Park City, Utah, in the scenic Wasatch Mountains.

The Utah Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed the camp, first known as Camp Pinar, during the Great Depression. In 1937, the camp was dedicated and renamed Camp Cloud Rim. Upon opening, the 27-acre site quickly became a popular destination for Girl Scouts throughout Utah and neighboring states and was listed on Utah’s Historical Register. In November 1992, a fire completely destroyed the historic lodge, but after many years of planning and fundraising, the lodge was rebuilt and dedicated in August 1999 as the Janet Quinney Lawson Lodge.Lake View

Secluded, yet easily accessible from downtown
Salt Lake City (approximately 60 minutes away),
Camp Cloud Rim is the perfect camp for girls
to experience Utah’s alpine lakes and sweeping
mountain vistas.
