Camp Check In: Cloud Rim Camp Check Out: TBD based on individual camper’s preference for her last week Building on the skills you learned in C.I.T. 1, you will expand your interests and skills surrounding camp counseling, increase your ability to manage and teach children, and learn about risk management and resolving difficult situations. You’ll spend time at both camps, creating and running programs for girls with support from counselors. And during your last week, you will be placed with a unit of campers at Camp Cloud Rim or Trefoil Ranch, where you’ll get the full counselor experience. This training prepares you to be a counselor and teaches the specifics of waterfront, art, high adventure, ropes course, and horseback riding. Girls will be transported to and from Trefoil Ranch. If so, spend the week exploring throughout camp and learning all about your favorite animals: how to care for them, how to keep them healthy, and how to make toys for them. Make sure to save time to learn about helping animals from a local veterinarian to practice your new skills during a two hour horse session where you will ride, feed, and learn how to care for the horses at Trefoil Ranch. You’ll check-in at Cloud Rim and experience waterfront and pottery. At Trefoil Ranch, you will enjoy the ropes course, archery, and horseback riding with a trail ride. Your adventure will end with a biking and river kayaking experience.
