Girls in Utah want to be leaders, but they often lack the confidence and leadership skills to do so.

in five girls believe they can be a leader, but seek mentors to stand beside them.

Girl Scouts Utah works to empower girls and give them the mentoring, life-skills and confidence they need to change the world. At the Stand Beside Her Luncheon, business, civic, and community leaders come together to celebrate individuals and organizations who are making positive changes to help girls and women lead. This annual event also provides significant support to Girl Scouts of Utah programs working with girls for the entire year.

Highlights from the 2016 Stand Beside Her Luncheon

In March 2016, more than 300 business, civic and community leaders came together to celebrate female leadership and honor two key individuals who have made positive change in our communities, Char Corbit (Distinguished Alumna) and Carine Clark (Tough Cookie). The event also celebrated our 2016 Emerging Leaders, high school-aged girls who, through our program, learned valuable networking, resume building, and professional skills.
