Have you ever been curious about winter holidays that are celebrated during the winter around the world? Learn about Hannukah, St. Lucia, Diwali, Christmas, and more! As we explore all about the different holidays we’ll make crafts, sweet treats, play games, and of course spend some time in the snow!
ACTIVITY SCHOLARSHIPS: Activity Scholarships are available for all registered Girl Scouts for camp programs. Girls may receive one scholarship for a school-year program and one scholarship for a summer camp program. To learn more, click here.
SPECIAL DIETS: I understand the camps can facilitate basic special diets including: lactose-intolerance, vegetarian, gluten-free, and simple allergies. Children with severe food allergies must be fully able to manage their allergies at camp and know not to eat any of that type of food. We do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee that a child will not come into contact with a specific type of food or allergen during her stay. Campers are asked to help supplement their diet by bringing food from home. Food will be checked-in with the Kitchen Director and/or Health Supervisor upon your arrival at camp. If your child has severe dietary restrictions and food allergies please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 801-265-8472.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations up to two weeks prior to the start of the program will be refunded with the exception of a $10 processing fee. Cancellations within two weeks of the start of the program will not be refunded.
MEDIA RELEASE: When families register for Girl Scout programs, they “understand that when participating in Girl Scout activities the registrant may be photographed for print, video or electronic imaging.? Families also “understand that the images may be used in promotional materials, news releases and other published formats for either the local Girl Scout councils or Girl Scouts of the USA? (GSUSA’s registration form).
DISCLAIMER: Girl Scouts of Utah plans quality programs for camp with the health, safety, and well-being of campers as our first priority. The Camp Director may determine whether a participant is competent to participate in any activity; and if necessary, modify or change the activity. If a participant is sent home for misconduct, no refund will be issued. Some sessions may be altered or cancelled due to weather, fire, natural disaster, staffing concerns, or low registration numbers. If Girl Scouts of Utah cancels a session due to low registration numbers or inclement weather, a full refund will be issued.
