Adult Outdoor Education Conference
Are you ready to experience the Great Outdoors with your Girl Scouts? This overnight conference will provide you with hands-on practice in building fires, using ropes, outdoor cooking, using knives, setting up camp, and planning your next outdoor experience.
Friday night will include making SWAPS and other crafts, songs, games, campfire activities, sharing outdoor ideas, and snacks (dinner is on your own!).
Saturday’s workshops will fulfill the Troop Camping 101 requirement and will give you an opportunity to practice outdoor skills at beautiful Trefoil Ranch. Breakfast, lunch, and a useful outdoor resource guide will be provided that day.
An optional CPR/First Aid/AED course (In Person + Online Component) is also available on Friday afternoon (before the conference begins). This optional training requires an online component to be completed BEFORE attending the in-person session. Details of how to completed this will be emailed to all registrants.
A detailed itinerary will be emailed to all registrants.
