To complete this training, attendees must first complete the online videos and quiz prior to attending the training in-person. The online videos will be emailed to individuals after they have registered for this training. 

The online portion of this training will cover the essential pieces to running Girl Scout programs and events including what is a Girl Scout Event, utilizing your support team, incorporating the national program, your event checklist, risk management, planning your event, financial management, and holding your event. 

The in-person training will put what you learned online into practice by giving you the opportunity to plan out an event.

This training is required every 3 years for anyone who is running Girl Scout Events.

  • Event and Outdoor Representatives who have not been trained within the past 3 years
  • Event Team Members
  • Troop Leaders who are interested in learning more about programming 
  • Adult Supporters who will be helping at events
  • All Adult Volunteers are invited to attend!
