The Leader-in-Training program (LIT) is the building block for Girl Scouts of Utah’s Leadership Programs at Camp Cloud Rim. LIT is the mandatory prerequisite to the Counselor-in-Training 1, Counselor-in-Training 2 and Junior Counselor programs. This two-week camp includes fun camp programming opportunities, youth development and a camp service project. An emphasis is placed on the Camp Program Quality Assessment tool. Throughout the two weeks participants will attend workshops about female developmental stages, diversity and rainy day backup plans and games without equipment. These workshops are focused on helping the LITs learn and improve their leadership skills and traits throughout the program. LITs will also participate in an overnight experience, perfect their Basic 8 Outdoor Skills and attend Camper Council.
