When engineers are designing a race car, they need to consider how forces like gravity and friction will affect their design. Using the engineering design process, Brownies will investigate the physics of force and motion as they design, build and test several types of race cars and tracks. This workshop will fulfill all of the requirements for the Race Car Design Challenge Badge. Plus, receive a participation patch from NHMU!

Badges can be purchased at the Girl Scout shop after the badge requirements have been completed.

All girls must attend with an adult who is also registered for this activity, whether attending on your own or with a troop.  One adult required for every six girls.
