Get Involved

There are several exciting ways for you to get involved and change your world:

1. Complete a Journey
Review your "It's Your Planet-Love it"Journey book for ideas and preparation for project selection.

2. Make a Pledge
Girls, encourage your family and friends to take the pledge, as well.

3. Pick a Project
Engage girls in the selection process to make sure the project matches their interests.

4. Take Action for one month
Why? Keeping the project to a month's time helps us record data on global participation and environmental impact. And by targeting the three months closest to the 100th anniversary, we're creating buzz and excitement and increasing the visibility of the movement.

5. Record Results
Register on the Girl Scouts Forever Green website upon completion of the project. This is where you'll log both your own participation and that of your friends and family over the course of the month. Your must enter your Girl Scouts Forever Green data no later than December 31, 2012 (parents, volunteers, or responsible adults should assist girls under age 13 with registering and entering data online).

If you're in 5th grade or higher, you can join the "Green Achievers," who serve as the leadership team of the Girls Scouts Forever Green (GSFG) program. We put our heads together to plan fun GSFG activities and inspire others to Take Action to help save the environment. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Central Resource Center in Salt Lake City.
