Scratch
With SCRATCH software, users can easily combine media to create and share their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art. As young people work on projects in Scratch, they learn many of the 21st century skills that will be critical to success in the future: thinking creatively, communicating clearly, analyzing systematically, and using technologies fluently.
Helen Ju, a computer science professor at Westminster college, and a Girl Scout volunteer, is willing to work with your troop and offer sessions (2-4) to teach your girls how to use the SCRATCH program.
If you are interested, please contact Helen at hhu@westminstercollege.edu or
