Endowment Fund

An endowment fund is made up of gifts and bequests that are subject to a requirement that the principal be maintained intact and invested to create a source of income for an organization. You may set up an endowment to fund a specific interest; and a nonprofit's governing body may set up an endowment. In any case, an endowment requires that the principal remain intact in perpetuity, or for a defined period of time or until sufficient assets have been accumulated to achieve a designated purpose.

The Girl Scouts of Utah's mission is build girls of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. Girl Scouts celebrate our 100th Anniversary in 2012 and to ensure we are around for another 100 years, please consider contributing to our endowment fund.

If you have questions or wish to donate to our endowment fund, please contact Melissa Mathews at mmathews@gsutah.org.
