Cause

Camping for a Cause has been dubbed the signature Girl Scout
event in Utah. Any woman, age 21 and older, who wishes to
make a difference in the lives of Utah girls can relive her
Girl Scout memories or be a Girl Scout for the
first time
at this fun, overnight getaway.
All proceeds from this event help make the Girl Scout experience
available to any girl who wishes to participate.
Save the date! Camping for a Cause 2009 will be held Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 2009.

Be a Pampered Camper
This isn't the summer camp you remember!
Participate
in traditional camp activities such as hiking, canoeing,
and campfire sing-alongs, as well as more unique camp experiences
geared toward women: massage, healthy cooking, and skin
care.
On the first day of Camping for a Cause, indulge in a gourmet
catered dinner and bid on fabulous items in our silent
and live auctions. The second day includes breakfast, outdoor
activities, workshops of your choice, and a Dutch oven lunch.

Location and Accommodations
Experience the serenity of beautiful Camp Cloud Rim, which rests at 9,200 feet near Park
City in the scenic Wasatch Mountains. A Girl Scout camp
since 1937, Camp Cloud Rim boasts a state-of-the-art, renovated
rustic lodge, a private alpine lake, hiking trails, and a
family of moose! Cabins and lodge rooms are available for
your stay, and there are flush toilets and hot showers.
Cabins
sleep eight; cots and mattresses are provided. The lodge has limited
space and includes bunk beds and mattresses.

with Sue Molitoris, Estate Appraiser
Free appraisals of your favorite artifacts! Bring your small treasured objects with you to camp (jewelry, knick-knacks, sculpture, etc.) or bring a photo with a detailed description. Whether you want an appraisal or just want to watch the fun, this workshop is for you! Sue appeared as an Antiques Roadshow participant on PBS and will give you the inside scoop about her experience.
