About Girl Scout
“U”niversity
Girl Scout “U”niversity offers adult courses and
girl workshops designed to develop and enhance leadership
skills, discover the great outdoors, and enrich the Girl Scout
experience.
Volunteer training is essential. A top reason for training is safety. We must make sure girls are safe from physical harm and
provide safe environments where
girls can take risks and grow.
Girl training is also necessary and provides girls
additional experiences and resources they need to make smart
choices that will help them succeed as adults.
Benefits
The benefits of training are personally rewarding: opportunities
to develop leadership and organizational skills,
enriched interactions with girls and adults, new program activities and best practices for implementation,
relationships with other adults, and fun.
Accessibility, Versatility, and Adaptability
GS“U”niversity showcases our continued
commitment to educating adult volunteers in traditional
yet innovative ways. GSU has developed a blended learning
