Get ready to become an outdoor artist as you connect with nature and create something helpful to the environment. You will learn how to see nature with an artist’s eye and find ways to express yourself from photography and painting, to music. Head outside and find art, it doesn’t just exist within the four walls of a museum. Complete all steps for the Outdoor Art Expert badge through a self-paced virtual course. Explore murals in Gloucester, VA and sculptures on display by Jay Lagemann and learn techniques to capture one of a kind nature photography from a professional photographer. You will be inspired to design your own art mural and create a masterpiece from recycled material. This badge does require you to explore nearby art in your area and a few craft supplies of your choosing, a journal or sketch pad and a camera; phone or ipad will work great.
