Join us as we explore and learn about classical Indian dance! From
their website: Kaladharaa Dance is an established dance organization
based in Utah & Washington D.C., who's mission is to promote and
preserve the Indian classical across boundaries, focusing mainly on
'Kathak' which is one amongst the eight Indian classical dance forms,
with its origin from North India. We are excited to welcome them to
Girl Scouts of Utah for a special dance performance and workshop.
Nidhika Loomba & Sonali Loomba are the artistic directors of this
organization who have studied Kathak extensively under the guidance of
their Guru's Sri Hari & Smt. Chethana Hari, Internationally
recognized Kathak dance couple from Bangalore, India.
This is not a badge-earning event. All Girl Scouts must attend
with an adult, and all Girl Scouts and adults must register to attend.
No onsite registration, all Girl Scouts and adults must pre-register.
No siblings, tagalongs, or additional adults will be allowed on site.
Program fees (less the deposit) may be refunded before the program
registration deadline (10/9/2024). Cancellations after the program
registration deadline (10/9/2024) will forfeit the full amount of the
fee for each person registered. For cancellations and registration
