When can an award be submitted?  Anytime!  However, council level awards will be presented at Recognition of Excellence on May 3, 2014 and Communities may hold award events at other times throughout the year.

Who can submit a nomination?  Anyone!  Volunteers, parents/guardians, girls, Community Leadership Team members or staff may all submit nominations.

What is the submission deadline?  Both Council and Community level awards must be submitted to awards@gsutah.org or the Girl Scout office by 5 pm on February 10, 2014.

When and where will these awards be presented?  Community level awards are reviewed by the Recognition & Delegate Representative and approved by the Community Leadership Team.  Awards will be presented by the Community Leadership Team.  Council level awards are reviewed by the Adult Recognition Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.  Awards will be presented at Recognition of Excellence.

How to submit a nomination:

  1. Review list of awards, criteria, and nomination requirments
  2. Make sure nominee meets award criteria
  3. Click on "Nominate for an Adult Award"
  4. Fill in information - completely!
  5. Submit letter(s) of endorsement (if required) to awards@gsutah.org
  6. Press submit
