Last month, Girl Scouts of Utah CEO Lisa Hardin-Reynolds was honored with the Lifetime of Service Award at the American Camp Association Southwest Conference, recognizing her incredible contributions to the camp world!
Lisa (aka Gumby) began her journey with GSU as an Outdoor Program Specialist, where she combined her degree in social work from Weber State University with a passion for the outdoors and empowering individuals.
She played a key role in developing the organization’s outstanding outdoor programs, impacting thousands of girls by providing them with life-changing experiences at Camp Cloud Rim and Trefoil Ranch.
Through more than 33 years with Girl Scouts of Utah, Lisa has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Chief Operations Officer, Interim CEO, and Vice President of Program and Outdoor Property.
We’re so proud to see Lisa celebrated by the camp community! Her impact on overnight camp and outdoor education extends far beyond her work at Girl Scouts of Utah. This well-deserved recognition celebrates her decades of dedication, leadership, and love for helping campers grow through the power of the outdoors.
