Deliver impactful outdoor programming
When you work at camp, you'll develop communication skills and creativity as you collaborate with other staff members and engage with campers. You'll model compassion and improve problem-solving skills while managing a group of campers and leading camp activities. Help resolve camper conflicts and guide campers as they navigate new experiences away from home.
Staff must be 18 years of age by their start date and can not be enrolled in high school for the next school year.

Application Process
- Browse our camp positions and apply to any that interest you. You may apply to more than one position on the same application.
- Returning staff are interviewed beginning in December each year. New staff interviews are conducted on a rolling basis beginning in January. Interviews may be virtual or in-person.
- At the close of your interview, you will be informed of the next steps in the interview process. Job offers may be made immediately following the interview, on the condition that three positive, relevant references are submitted on your behalf. Employment may not begin until after references are received.

Counselor Positions 
Camp Counselor 
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Camp counselors provide a quality program, supervise a group of 6-24 campers during their stay, teach and lead basic camp programs, and assist program staff in other program areas.
- Salary: $495/week
Head Counselor
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Experience true leadership by guiding and empowering other counselors and campers. Oversee the campers and counselors in program groups, act as a liaison between staff, campers, and administration, and lead camp programming.
- Requirements: Related industry experience, supervisory experience
- Salary: $550/week
Aquatics Positions
Waterfront Director
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim
- The waterfront director will supervise the waterfront counselors, oversee the safety and operation of the waterfront program, develop waterfront programs and curriculums, and perform lifeguard duties and in-service trainings.
- Requirements: Lifeguard certification, supervisory experience
- Salary: $577.50/week
Waterfront Counselor (Lifeguard)
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim
- Provide quality programming for 12-32 campers at the lake. You will supervise free lake time, perform lifeguard duties, and teach and lead watercraft lessons to girls including canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and sailing. This position will assist in the units and kitchen when not at the waterfront.
- Requirements: Lifeguard certification (training opportunity provided)
- Salary: $522.50/week
Equestrian Positions
Equestrian Director
- Location: Trefoil Ranch
- The equestrian director is responsible for supervising the equestrian staff, overseeing the safety and operation of the horse stables and horseback riding program, and managing a comprehensive horseback riding curriculum.
- Requirements: Supervisory experience, extensive experience with horse programming or certification
- Salary: $577.50/week
Assistant Equestrian Director
- Location: Trefoil Ranch
- Assist in the overall operation of the horse stables and horseback riding program. The Assistant Equestrian Director is responsible for the ground school program and curriculum in addition to the Wrangler-in-Training program.
- Requirements: Supervisory experience, extensive experience with horse programming or certification
- Salary: $550/week
Wrangler
- Location: Trefoil Ranch
- Assist in the overall operation of the horse stables and horseback riding program alongside the Equestrian Director and Assistant Equestrian Director, with a focus on the health and wellbeing of the horses in our herd.
- Requirements: Extensive equestrian experience and knowledge
- Salary: $522.50/week
Riding Counselor
- Location: Trefoil Ranch
- Provide quality programming for 6-30 campers at the stables. Teach and lead lessons to multiple groups each day including riding lessons, ground school lessons, and stable chores. This position will assist in the units and kitchen when not at program areas.
- Salary: $522.50/week
Program and Arts Positions
Art Director
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim
- The Art Director is responsible for overseeing the art programs and curriculums at Camp Cloud Rim. Curriculums include pottery, drawing, painting, and general arts and crafts.
- Requirements: Experience in art programming, extensive ceramics background preferred
- Salary: $577.50/week
High Adventure Director
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim
- The High Adventure Director is responsible for overseeing the safety and operation of the high adventure programs at Cloud Rim: backpacking/overnights and rock climbing.
- Requirements: Experience in high adventure program areas
- Salary: $577.50/week
Program Counselor
- Location: Trefoil Ranch
- Program Counselors are responsible for supporting program coordinators in various programs at Trefoil Ranch. When not assisting with programs, this position is scheduled to be in units supporting general counselors and providing a helping hand in the kitchen when needed.
- Salary: $495/week
Camp Leadership and Administration
Assistant Camp Director
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Assist the Camp Director with the overall operation of camp including supervising staff, assisting with daily and weekly scheduling, managing incidents, conducting meetings, completing paperwork, and assisting around the camp as needed.
- Requirements: Previous overnight summer camp experience, supervisory experience
- Salary: $632.50/week
Program Coordinator
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Program coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety and operations of various programs. This includes activities like high and low ropes course, archery, hatchet throwing, hiking, woodworking, art, biking, all-camp programming, camper choice programs, and more.
- Requirements: Experience in program areas, Lifeguard certification (Camp Cloud Rim only)
- Salary: $577.50/week
Health Supervisor
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- The Health Supervisor oversees the care and safety of the entire camp community including distributing daily medications, assessing camp and staff health needs, administering first aid, responding to camp medical emergencies, and assisting the administrative team as needed.
- Requirements: Registered Nurse preferred; WFA, WFR, EMT or higher qualification required
- Salary: up $1,100/week based on certification
MESH (Mental, Emotional, and Social Health) Specialist/Health Assistant
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- The MESH Specialist will support the duties of the Health Supervisor, cover when they are on break, and will act as a resource for campers and staff who need support for challenges relating to mental, emotional, and social health.
- Requirements: Currently enrolled or graduated from a clinical mental health counselor program, or a documented background in psychology, social work, or similar
- Salary: $495/week
Family Relations and Media Manager
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Serve as the champion of our campers and their families.
- Answer family concerns, distribute camper letters, oversee camp-to-family communications, and manage photos.
- This position also assists with other administrative operations, includng running the camp store and purchasing program supplies.
- Requirements: Excellent driving record, customer service experience preferred
- Salary: $495/week
Kitchen Positions
Kitchen Director
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Work with the team of Kitchen Assistants to manage the commercial kitchen at camp. Follow a rotating menu, keeping track of inventory in the fridge/freezer/dry storage, requesting additional ingredients and supplies in a timely manner. Manage the schedules of the kitchen team, ensure they have the proper training for all kitchen equipment, and provide meals for about 150 people daily in a timely manner. Manage dietary restrictions/requests in a safe manner, and oversee the cleanliness of the commercial kitchen to the standards of the Health Department.
- Requirements: Previous commercial kitchen experience required, preferably with supervisory experience as well
- Salary: up to $1,320/week based on experience
Kitchen Assistant
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Under the supervision of the Kitchen Director, work as a team to prepare meals for about 150 people daily, paying attention to dietary restrictions and allergies. You'll help with inventory management, requesting additional supplies/ingredients in a timely manner to the Kitchen Director. Maintain the cleanliness of the commercial kitchen at a satisfactory level for Health Department Code.
- Requirements: Previous commercial kitchen experience preferred
- Salary: $495/week
Facilities
Maintenance Assistant
- Location: Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch
- Assist the Camp Ranger with various maintenance projects, general cleaning, and camp operation procedures. Tasks include lawn and yard care, site repairs, luggage hauling, housekeeping, and more.
- Requirements: Excellent driving record
- Salary: $15/hour
