We start with a sports oriented warm-up and stretching session, then follow with a game or two involving teams that addresses the program goal and stresses character-building concepts such as teamwork, fair play, staying fit, etc. We also strive to teach a fundamental sport skill (i.e. throwing a ball with proper form or dribbling a soccer ball through obstacles). Become a Program Partner

Are you a part of a community organization that would like to provide events or programming for Girl Scouts of Utah? Join us as a Program Partner! The process for partnership generally takes three weeks to a month and includes an intake interview and an annual, virtual training. We offer two main types of partnership:

  • Full partnership – an organization plans, hosts, and executes all or almost all of an event. Registration and advertising are handled by Girl Scouts of Utah.
  • Episodic partnership – an organization provides programming at Girl Scouts of Utah events or provides a non-traditional partnership option, such as community service or discounted tickets to events.
  • You-Schedule-It partnership – an organization that provides programming for troops or service units on an on-demand basis and is council-approved.

Potential partners are evaluated by the Program Department. If your organization would like to partner with us, please email programs@gsutah.org
