By registering for this event, each person is agreeing to Girl Scouts of Utah's Code of Conduct .
Join National Park Service scientists to learn about museums and fossils of this area, modern ecological habitats, and how to protect our public lands. Girl Scouts can expect to assist with graffiti removal, spend the day at the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum, and learn about paleoart and how fossils are identified and cared for. Together with the Ecologist, students will study the life cycle of Bumble Bees and Hummingbirds that call Dinosaur National Monument their home.
This day camp is hosted by Uintah Basin Service Unit, but Girl Scouts from across the council can attend. Please note that one day will be held in Vernal and the other in Jensen. Details for each location will be provided in the confirmation. If you are attending from out of town, you will be responsible for your own lodging, meals, and supervision outside of the day camp times.
T-shirts, lunch, and snacks are provided with registration. Please note any allergies or dietary needs.
Fee is refundable if camp is attended. Fee is not refunded if you are a no-show.
