Join us for a sweet session of STEM fun as we put your engineering skills to the test-using frosting, candy, and some serious creativity! Girls will learn about basic engineering principles while designing and building their very own structures. Will it be a classic cottage? A candy castle? A peppermint-powered mansion? It's all up to you! This hands-on program is perfect for budding builders and future architects of all ages. Let's build, design, and maybe even snack a little along the way!
Program Type
This event is hosted by Girl Scouts of Utah council staff members.
Membership Type
This event is open to families (minimum age of 5).
Participation Type
This event is designed to be attended by a Girl Scout and an adult caregiver or with their families. Participants are required to be 5 years old to attend. Each person is required to register.
Program Fee and Payment
$20 per child ($10 non-refundable deposit due with registration)
$0 per adult ($0 non-refundable deposit due with registration)
Balances due in full by February 6. If you register after this date, (a) you will be required to pay in full and (b) you will have 10 days to submit Activity Credits to have GSU refund your initial payment for the credits.
Activity Scholarships (Members Only)
Learn more and apply for an Activity Scholarship. For programs with a deposit, register for the program and pay the deposit. Activity scholarships will be applied toward the balance due.
Activity Credits (Youth Members Only)
Youth members can use Activity Credits to pay for this program. Mail Activity Credits to Girl Scouts of Utah with a payment form.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Program deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations less than 10 business days (Monday-Friday) from the program start date will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered. For cancellations and registration changes, contact Girl Scouts of Utah at 801-265-8472 or info@gsutah.org.
