Join us for a sweet session of STEM fun as we put your engineering skills to the test! In this engineering extravaganza, you'll sample different ways engineers work in the world. Try out civil and structural engineering when you use frosting, candy, and some serious creativity to build an earthquake ready creation! Will it be a classic cottage? A candy castle? A peppermint-powered mansion? It's all up to you! We'll also explore engineering with the help of real engineers, robotics team members, and more! Come prepared for tons of good STEM fun and learning.
Program Type
This event is hosted by Girl Scouts of Utah council staff members.
Membership Type
This event is open to families (minimum age of 5).
Participation Type
This event is designed to be attended by a Girl Scout and an adult caregiver or with their families. Participants are required to be 5 years old to attend. Each person is required to register.
Program Fee and Payment
$20 per child ($10 non-refundable deposit due with registration)
$0 per adult ($0 non-refundable deposit due with registration)
Balances due in full by February 6. If you register after this date, (a) you will be required to pay in full and (b) you will have 10 days to submit Activity Credits to have GSU refund your initial payment for the credits.
Activity Scholarships (Members Only)
Learn more and apply for an Activity Scholarship. For programs with a deposit, register for the program and pay the deposit. Activity scholarships will be applied toward the balance due.
Activity Credits (Youth Members Only)
Youth members can use Activity Credits to pay for this program. Mail Activity Credits to Girl Scouts of Utah with a payment form.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Program deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations less than 10 business days (Monday-Friday) from the program start date will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered. For cancellations and registration changes, contact Girl Scouts of Utah at 801-265-8472 or info@gsutah.org.
