Get ready for a stellar time outdoors! Travel with other Girl Scouts to Moab, set up camp on Friday, and enjoy paddle boarding and hiking on Saturday. You'll spend some time cooking out and working on steps of various outdoor badges.
Program fee covers transportation from Murray to Moab and back, gear rental and instruction for paddleboarding, food, and GSU staff supervision/programming. This is a beginner trip. Prior paddle boarding and camping experience is not a prerequisite. However, participants must be able to swim.

Girl Scout Only participation for Outdoor Program
This event is designed to be attended by Girl Scout youth only. Youth will be supervised by trained and background checked program staff and/or volunteers following Girl Scout ratios.
This is a progression-based program to help Girl Scouts gain independence and confidence. Participants will be sharing sleeping space with other Girl Scouts that are not from their troop/buddy group. If youth are attending with friends/troop members, list their names in the buddy section during registration.

Program Fee and Payment
$315 per person ($50 non-refundable deposit due with registration)
Balances are due in full by August 17, 2026. If you register after this date, (a) you will be required to pay in full and (b) you will have 10 days to submit Activity Credits to have GSU refund your initial payment for the credits.

For programs with a deposit, register for the program and pay the deposit. Activity scholarships will be applied toward the balance due.
Activity Credits (Youth Members Only)
Youth members can use Activity Credits to pay for this program.
Mail Activity Credits to Girl Scouts of Utah with a payment form.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Program deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations less than 10 business days (Monday-Friday) from the program start date will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered.
