Registration is only for those in the Hunter Valley Service Unit. Registrations will be cancelled and refunded if you are not in this Service Unit.
Description
You Glow Girl! Join us for a fun-filled, glow-themed adventure designed to help girls build confidence, friendships, leadership skills, creativity, and teamwork! Throughout this exciting overnight experience, participants will take part in campfire-inspired activities, interactive missions, and team challenges. Girls will work together to solve secret glow codes, build mini campfires, create glow-themed crafts and gear, send light signals, rescue a magical glow garden, and collect sparks and flame pieces needed to relight the final campfire. On Saturday, participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy archery and slingshots as part of the adventure! Come ready to make new friends, try new things, work as a team, and let your light shine!
Program Type
- This event is hosted by Hunter Valley Service Unit. The volunteers have completed event specific training, completed youth protection training, and have been background checked.
- Service Units agree to follow Girl Scouts of Utah's policies and procedures to conduct a safe, fun event for Girl Scouts.
- Girl Scouts of Utah staff will not be present at this event.
Membership Type
- This is a member-only event.
Participation Type
- Girl Scout with Troop or Girl Scout by themselves. Girl Scouts attending without a troop will be supervised by Service Unit volunteers.
- Troops are to have only the number of adults needed to maintain ratio. Adults are to be Troop Leaders or Co-Leaders unless special permission has been granted by the Service Unit (eventshuntervalleysu@gmail.com). To ensure the safety of all our Girl Scouts, every adult in attendance must be a registered member, background checked and have current youth protection training. Adults who do not meet this criteria 2 weeks prior to the event will have their registration cancelled.
- Each person is required to register.
Program Fee and Payment
- Adults are free.
- Girl Scout Youth are $40/person.
- Youth have the option of paying $5 at the time of registration up (through September 30). The remaining $35 is due to GSU by October 4.
- Youth registering October 1-4 will need to pay in full at the time of registration.
- If using 2026 Activity Credits, mail credits to GSU with a payment form prior to October 4. You can also pay with a card and then mail activity credits to GSU within 10 days to have GSU refund your initial payment for the credits. Questions, contact us at 801-265-8472 or info@gsutah.org.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations after October 4 will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered.
