Wilderness Remote First Aid (WRFA) training teaches the foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response. WRFA training is required for any troop activity located more than a 30 minute journey away from emergency medical care.
