       Using the Order Card
 Girls or their caregivers
write orders on the order card, double-checking sale details and
contact information, especially the phone number. Share with the
customer that you will call or text to arrange delivery.
If you use the Digital Cookie app to collect payment at time of
order, be sure to note on your order card that payment has been
collected through the app. You may want to share an approximate
delivery date, so they know when to expect your call or text.
       Selling Online
With the help of a trusted adult,
girls can send emails to friends and family through Digital Cookie.
With this link, they'll be able to choose girl delivery or direct
  shipping for their cookie order.
Girls may also use social media to market their sale. However, we
ask that girls, troops, volunteers, and caregivers review our social media guidelines first.

       Donating Cookies
  Customers can purchase Gift of
Caring packages through Digital Cookie, an individual Girl Scout, or
  at a Cookie Booth.
Through the Council Gift of Caring, the cookie packages will be
ordered and delivered to the Utah Food Bank by Girl Scouts of Utah.
TPMs do not need to purchase these cookie packages in their initial
orders or from the cookie cupboards.
Troops can reach out to an organization in their community to
collect orders for and deliver those donated cookies to through the
Troop Gift of Caring program. The troop will decide who to partner
with, collect the donations, and personally deliver the donated
  packages of cookies.
Gift of Caring patches can be purchased through our retail shops.
       Delivering Cookies
 Prior to beginning any
deliveries, we suggest you separate orders by customer name into
bags and mark each bag with the contents, customer name, and amount
to be collected. Call or text the customer to arrange a time to
deliver their cookies and discuss payment options.
Upon arrival at the customers location, call or text to alert
them that you are there. Then, collect payment—more details are available below.
Thank the customer for their order. We suggest leaving your
contact information to let them know how they can purchase
  additional Girl Scout Cookies.
       Collecting Payments
  Cash, check, and credit
cards may be used to pay for cookies. Acceptance of checks is at
the discretion of the Troop Leader. Credit card payments can be
accepted through the Digital Cookie app. Please check your
  training materials for detailed instructions.
GSU is covering all credit card fees incurred through the Digital
Cookie app this year. Other cash apps, such as Zelle or Square, can be
used to collect payment. However, if using cash apps other than
Digital Cookie, the user will be responsible to cover any fees incurred.
Note: Venmo is not an accepted form of payment.
